Francisco de Orellana

Francisco de Orellana has many natural resources, cultural events and tourist services that and it is the capital of the Province of Orellana. The city is tourist and commercially positioned nationally and internationally as El Coca.

It is located northeast of the Amazon of Ecuador. The beautiful city of El Coca is surrounded by three majestic rivers: Napo, Coca and Payamino. It has great tourist potential for water resources, flora, fauna and cultural ancestral Waorani, Kichwa, Shuar nationalities and villages in voluntary isolation (Tagaeri-Taromenane). The canton Francisco de Orellana is part of the Yasuni Biosphere Reserve.
