Forestry Activities

Canoa Parish’s forestry area is little, due to the indiscriminate logging and burning carried out by the area’s farmers, who, in December and January months, knock down the vegetation and then burn it to wait for the rains in the first days of the year and there sow your products.

It is for this reason that there are few trees left, mainly the ceibos that are native, we also find mangroves, fruit trees and more.
